Warning: This way lie dragons

Below are my random musings and insights, I make no warrenty to their fitness for any audiance nor to the correct spelling and such. I could spend twice as long writing it well (I did get a 4.0) or get out twice as much.

It's a personal journal, publicly displayed, as if written to my puppy, don't like it, don't read it, it's that easy.

But for those who venture in with a very open mind may gleam a nugget of truth or two. Remember it's posted backwards, newest first.

Feedback/Comments are very welcome!

Camera as an universal optical data interface & Galaxy Class Nexus I

The (relatively) low resolution camera on my phone (Galaxy Class Nexus CM nightly) become so much more useful when you don't limit your mind to just taking pictures with it.
Since it's fast, quick to access, and good enough quality to store data, it saves me from having to remember (ha, cute) or look it up just then.
Now don't me me wrong, I understand why Google put a "crap" camera in it; it's for developers and if you design your app to function on it, you'll be blown away when we hit 12mp and you can scan both pages of a book at once, add a little OCR...
Same with the ludicrous battery; you develop on here and you'll count every milliamp... snap on a batt with 10 times the capacity...
Look at how power wise the kernel (hence Linux) and CM has become since stock!
I should note, I do love this cam, less pixels in the same chip size yields better night vision. And with the new photo editor you can get Photoshop quick TouchUp work built in.
